Update Dec-10. From his foster guardians,
"Buddy loves to sit in laps and be petted. He'll sit for the longest time. However, when he decides he is done, he stands up and eeps. We put him down then and he often thumps once, and then turns around to be petted before he hops off."
Background: Obtained from a breeder. Buddy's been with his owner since a young age. He participated in 4-H showmanship program. He desires a forever-family, attentive guardian human, and/or a pretty lady bun to snuggle with.
Teenaged son has outgrown his interest in caring for Buddy.
Buddy now has a pad to lay on in his housing unit. Especially nice while he recovered from neuter surgery, and to keep his feet on something comfy.
Apr-30-10, from Buddy's caregiver - "Just a little update on the Bud bun. It's been a week and a day since surgery and he's doing great! He had out of crate time yesterday and today and he loves it. He hops around, jumps on and off the bed, snuffs up to my face, burrows under the comforter where it's on the floor. I tried to get pictures of him while he's being so cute but my camera is too slow."
A sweet boy. Accepts cuddling. Loving. Litter box trained. Excellent litter box habits.
Buddy was neutered by Dr. Follett from Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital & Exotic Care.

He gets excited about morning handouts and will do his happy dancing when foster mom comes to feed him. He's groomed some of the buns in his foster home, and shows aptitute for being a bunny bondmate.
