~ Soulmate Rabbit Rescue ~

Marmaduke

I was surrendered to a shelter that gets full fast. A transition spot opened up, and I switched to a shelter that allowed me to hop about and socialize with their cats.

A small housing unit is not the ideal place for a guy like me.

I'm almost 8 pounds, and I really dreamed of having more area to be a bunny.

Here I am before I transitioned to my foster caregiver.

My foster mom gives me salads, a scoop of Oxbow Bunny Basics timothy pellets, lots of hay (I love to eat hay!), and lots of head rubs. Head rubs and hay! We're acclimating to the pick me up phase ~ and I really like spending time with my caregivers on the floor.

Wait, then there's playtime in my exercise pen, and my own designated bunny room.

My litter box habits are great.

I enjoy having a house cat to socialize with! Perhaps someday I may want a bunny friend? I am acquainted with dog sounds.

Dr. Follett of Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital gave me a wellness check-up. I checked-out perfectly; teeth, heart, lungs, ears, eyes, skin coat, abdomen palpation.

What's in here?

I held still and let Dr. Follett check my incisors and gums. Next came the lighted otoscope that views back molars & teeth! Nothing looked pointy.

Almost done with my exam ~ A report card is prepared for my health file.

A forever home is now on my wish list.
