Family Time Updates ~

She is doing great. - The kids have learned that her cage opens on BOTH ends (the end and the side) so they have been leaving it wide open and building forts all around it. Gigi seems either indifferent to it - just lays around her cage spread out long waiting for a pet - OR, she gets all excited at the BLANKETS in sight as they put the fort together. It's pretty cute to watch. I'm glad she is OK to share her cage because at times there are two kids IN it. I'm sure all three would climb in if they could all fit. She is such a love bunny.

Gina, Mom Lisa writes -
She is so good with Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn likes to give Gina treats, however Kaitlyn is not always good at putting it between her fingers so Gina can get it easily. If Gina attempts to get it but can not get it out of Kaitlyn's hands without having to bite her fingers, Gina just waits while I reposition the food in Kaitlyn's hands so Gina can get it. Gina is a very gentle bunny and good with Kaitlyn.

... Every night I come home to bunny love.
Good ole' "I'll hide in my box" Norman now comes running up the ramp to his house to get his treat when I get home.
Then he turns into a log for lovings. Zilly still thinks she's a dog and climbs up my leg until I scoop her up.Norman has taught Zilly his artistic ways and Zilly has been busy creating her own box sculpture lately. Sounds like a construction zone when the two of them chew in unison.
Monty and Bal are still waiting for their room to be done. (I'm hoping it will be their Easter gift.) They have learned 3000 ways to escape the fence that keeps them upstairs and at least once a week we have to round them up.
Bal got into the construction zone a couple weeks ago and we were scared to death. Under the sofa was where she always spent the daytime hours.
The sofa was all wrapped in plastic to keep construction mess off, but Bal had worked her way underneath and had reclaimed her spot.
They both come running when I call them when I get home.Photo credit: Family Portrait of Zilly and Norm by Phil.
