Requests from "at capacity" shelters flow in. Rescues and fosterers do the best possible. Education is paramount to finding the appropriate pet. Tell everyone you meet, "do _ your _ research."
Foster homes are needed. Certain rescues have started a foster-to-adopt program to save somebun whose time in shelter caging is limited. We recognize your commitment to care.
Please support K&R Small Animal Sanctuary Rescue and Rehome in Appleton/Oshkosh. View the adoptables in their listings. K&R helps overfull shelters as best they can. We are both fortunate to have devoted volunteers, fosterers, and bun-run drivers to get jeopardized rabbits to safety. Our intakes are spayed and neutered, and removed from euth lists, euth risks.

A soft-tined slicker brush
or flea comb
will keep your bun's coat well-groomed.
Scent gland checks and toe nail trims are suggested every 3-4 months. Long-haired rabbits like Jersey Woolies will require grooming more often.
Picking up your bunn, providing social time to play, sitting on the couch or floor, talking with him/her -- yes, talking to your bun who's listening -- will enrich the bond and relationship you share! Please give your rabbit/s extra ear rubs or soothing massages this holiday season.
